1. There shall be a closing time for all entries and entries shall be refused unless

made on or before the time stated in the schedule.

2. All the birds shall be the Bona Fide property of the exhibitor.

3. All birds to be judged by the standard of perfection issued by the budgerigar society

4. The committee have the power to refuse any entry with out stating a reason.

5. No bird shall be in any manner trimmed or coloured, and the judge shall pass any such bird he suspects without being compelled to give any reason.

6. The judges decision on merits shall be final. A protester against any award shall deposit 50p with the secretary together with any evidence and the committees decision shall over rule the judge. Deposit will be returned if protest is held.

7. All young birds exhibited in the breeder classes shall be closed rung with rings of that years colour and bearing the members code.

8. Young birds shown in nest feather classes shall have fully barred heads.

9. No birds shall be lifted except with the permission of the show manager while every care will be taken all exhibits shown shall be at the owners risk.

10. The committees decision in all matters whether provided for in these rules or not shall be deemed final.

11. Points to be awarded in breeders classes as follows 3 points for a win 2 points 2nd 1point 3rd irrespective of entries. An ascending scale shall come into force when over 3 birds are benched to a maximum of 7 points ie : 1st -7pts, 2nd- 6pts, 3rd -5pts, 4th- 4pts, 5th- 3pts, 6th- 2pts, 7th- 1pt. Bonus points will be awarded as follows : best in section 10pts, 2nd in section 6pts, 3rd in section 3pts in young bird classes. Adult classes at the annual show will carry 3-2-1 point irrespective of the class size.

12. All points to be counted for societies main prize. A fanciers top 8 placed birds will be added together to determine the points for the respective show to give a total were two sides to a schedule occur. A fancier may count 8 birds in each side.

(Spring & Annual Shows Only) eg : 7-3-1-6-6-4-3-2-7-3 total =39 points.

A fanciers top three results will be added together to determine a final league position; eg: 39-42-28-60 total = 141
